飲茶 Yum Cha is an installation of a dim sum hall made up of knitted, crocheted, and tufted items of typical Cantonese fare served in steamers and plates acquired locally in New York City. Referencing the closing of Jing Fong, a cornerstone restaurant of New York City's Chinatown, this work asks "What does it mean to be “authentic”?" and "What does it mean to preserve a culture?"
